Wes Bloom / Freelance Reporter and Photojournalist

Wes Bloom is a semi-retired broadcast journalist. He is a veteran of nearly 30 years 鈥渙n-air鈥 in both radio and television as an investigative news reporter/journalist, anchor, and on-air personality working throughout much of Western Canada and the United States.
For the past decade, he has worked as a photojournalist gathering news stories and photos pertinent to those stories, writing feature articles and pieces for various news organizations and magazines. He is passionate about Saskatchewan history, and is a ferocious champion of its beauty, splendour and way of life.
Bloom operates a small recording studio and video production facility in southern Saskatchewan in close proximity to his family farm. He does voice-over narration for radio and television commercial content, slide presentations, promotional videos and documentaries.
He is an avid outdoor enthusiast, photographer, and adventurer who led numerous canoe trips and survival adventures in Northern Saskatchewan in days gone by. Bloom is the proud father of four sons, four granddaughters and nine grandsons. His second son, Sean, preceded him to the grave, leaving him now with just three remaining sons.
