'Wanna Race?': Canoe and Kayak Club recruiting summer games athletes

The Saskatchewan Summer Games Team Â鶹ÊÓƵwest Canoe and Kayak squad is now recruiting athletes!

Some paddling experience is an asset but is not a prerequisite. Athletes will be competing in Lloydminster, Sask. from July 21 to 24 and will be part of a multi-sport summer games competition.

Male athletes from 12 to 16 years of age (as of Jan. 1) and female athletes from 11 to 15 years of age (as of Jan. 1) are eligible to compete.

A registration and informational session will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19 at the . Saturday, June 29 is the deadline for registration.

The club is located in the River Park Campground west of the skating oval in Moose Jaw's Wakamow Valley.

All applicants are asked to park in the Kiwanis River Park Pavilion parking lot.
