REGINA - The man arrested by Regina Police Service at a residence on Mathieu Crescent in Regina is still in custody.
Keagan Panipekeesick is charged with one count of pointing a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm contrary to order.
He appeared before a Justice of the Peace Wednesday.
His matter has been adjourned to Feb. 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Regina Provincial Court, to be spoken to.
Police reported previously that on Feb. 4 at around 3:15 p.m., Saskatchewan RCMP received multiple reports of an adult male pointing a gun at individuals on Zagime Anishinabek, formerly Sakimay First Nation.
Wednesday, RCMP said investigators are also looking into whether the firearm-pointing incident at Zagime Anishinabek is connected to four homicides on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation. They said they were unable to confirm a link at that time, with no further information released on the homicides since Wednesday's media availability.
