Suspect arrested in multiple Regina residency shootings

The incidents occurred between Sept. 28 and Sept. 29.

REGINA - Police have arrested a male following multiple firearm offences occurring in Sept.

The first incident occurred on Sept. 28 at Bard Crescent, where a residency was shot overnight. Police arrived on the scene and discovered bullet holes in the front windows of the residence.

The next day, on Sept. 29, police received a call for help from the same address, where the resident said their house had been shot at again. Officers arrived to discover more bullet holes in front of the residence.

A third incident was reported later, at around 11 a.m., in the 300 Block of Halifax Street. The caller who spoke to police believes the shots were fired overnight.

A 17-year-old male has been charged in relation to the incidents. The suspect cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The male has been charged with:

  • Discharging a Firearm in a Reckless Manner [CC 244.2(1)(B)] 

The youth made his first appearance in court on Tuesday. Police are asking anyone with further information regarding the investigation to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPPS).
