SASKATOON—A Saskatchewan woman’s passion for baking earned her a spot in an audio cookbook compiled by Canadian spice brand Club House. Canadian comedian narrates the audio cookbook compilation.

The audio cookbook  features dishes families can enjoy at every gathering and special occasion, whether serving for the Christmas and New Year feasts or just a regular family weekend dinner.

The audio cookbook also includes Classic Herb Stuffing, Cranberry Rum Pie, Easy Roast Turkey, Gingerbread Latte, Mini Apple Pie, Perfect Turkey Gravy, Pumpkin Parfait in a Jar, Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Balsamic Drizzle, and Stuffed Autumn Squash.

Rae, who chose not to give her last name, is from Regina. She shares her , which became one of the 10 ideal delicacies served during the holidays.

She learned of Club House’s Culinary Soundscapes contest through , a website that publishes shipping coupons, deals, and promotions for Canadians. The website has almost four million monthly visitors and over 770,000 registered users.

The ingredients, instructions on preparing each dish, and how many it can serve are also on the 30-minute audio cookbook's website, Club House Culinary Soundscapes. Except for the roast turkey and stuffed squash, most recipes take less than an hour to prepare and cook.

Rae’s specialty cookies made the list due to the distinct flavour of one tablespoon, 15 millilitres, of Tennessee Whiskey that perfectly blended with Club House’s pure vanilla extract and melted chocolate chips. The cookies are best eaten warm and fresh out of the oven.

“I just loved baking. I used this recipe when I wanted to make some simple yet delicious chocolate chip cookies. The recipe will remain available online at ClubHouse.ca,” said Rae, who tried the recipe at home and enjoyed it.

She wishes aspiring bakers, home cooks, and those who want to make pastries good luck and continue living their passion, never giving up if a recipe of a dish they are making does not work the first time.
