Frost Regina is returning for the fourth time.

REGINA - The fourth annual Frost Regina is coming to the Queen City in late January 2025, with some new events this year.

This year’s event will feature a snowboard event called 'The Grind.' According to the event organizers, The Grind will be held in Victoria Park over two days.

Victoria Park will also be the location of the REAL Hub. More information about what will take place at the hub, will be announced at a later date.

One notable difference from this year’s event is its length. Frost Regina 2025 will take place from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2, spanning four days.

Last year’s event took place from Jan. 26 to Feb. 4, seeing a dip in attendance. The event saw 63,000 people attend in 2024, which was short of a expected mark of 100,000 people.

Mother nature likely played a factor in that, with temperatures last year hovering over 0 C. The temperatures forced the Wascana Lake rink to close early.

Speaking of Wascana, the location will return next year for fun activities, including the return of The Family Fun Zone, winter games and more.

The Warehouse District will also host a variety of events, from live entertainment, beverage experiences, art and more.
