Crime Watch Advisory asks for public's help after semi damages property at Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park

The truck attempted to turn around, causing damage to park infrastructure, trees, and other vegetation.
ROWAN'S RAVINE PROVINCIAL PARK - The Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network; the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety; and Conservation Officers Saskatchewan are investigating after a semi damaged property at Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park campground.

On the morning of Aug. 15 at Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park, a blue semi-truck hauling black culverts on a flat-deck trailer entered the campground.

After driving into a dead-end campsite, the truck attempted to turn around, causing damage to park infrastructure, trees, and other vegetation. The truck left Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park without reporting the significant damage to the campground.

Witnesses were able to supply conservation officers with photos of the semi-truck and trailer responsible for the damage. Officers are requesting information from anyone who may recognize this vehicle or trailer to determine the owner or operator.

Officers continue to investigate but require the public's assistance.
