MOOSE JAW — On Feb. 5, the Moose Jaw Police Service conducted a search warrant at a residence within a Moose Jaw trailer court.
As a result of the search, police located a firearm and charged Zackery Marckoski, 30, Rodney Hafner, 36, and Krista Leflar, 38, with numerous weapons offences including:
- Possession of a prohibited firearm without a licence
- Possession of a prohibited device
- Unsafe storage of a firearm
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Possession of a firearm with the serial number removed
In addition to these charges, Hafner and Marckoski have also been charged with multiple counts of breach of a weapons prohibition order. Marckoski was on five court-ordered weapon prohibitions while Hafner was on two.
All three individuals have made their first appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court and have been remanded.
