After working at various jobs in Saskatchewan and Alberta, Wayne bought the hotel in Ogema and moved his family back home. After selling the hotel, Wayne became the co-owner and operator of the Ogema Farm and Auto business in Ogema. Wayne moved to Regina in 1992 to work in real estate, contracting and remodeling projects. It was here in Regina he met the love of his life Debbie Koch. After retirement, sports became his passion and he followed all of his grandchildren’s hockey and activities. Wayne loved his family and grandchildren more than words can say. Friends were also very important to Wayne. Anywhere he went he was bound to know someone and could share a story with them. Rest in peace dad and grandpa, we love and miss you. At Wayne’s request, there will be a Celebration of Life in Ogema at a later date. The family would like to thank the amazing doctors and staff of CCU at the Regina General Hospital.
