Trevor Wade Roesslein, late of Yellow Grass, passed away June 25, 2012, at the age of 42 years. Trevor was predeceased by his grandparents: Roy and Pearl Mitchell, John and Mary Roesslein. Trevor is survived by his wife, Stacey Roesslein; his children: Austin, Trey, Cameron and Reis all of Yellow Grass; his parents, Rick and Faye Roesslein, Weyburn; his in-laws: Linda Ebel (Garry Ferner), Weyburn, Garth (Debbie) Ebel, Regina Beach; sister-in-law, Jody (Jamie) Godlonton, Chestermere, AB; brothers-in-law: Kurtis (Nikki) Sanguin, Watrous, Dane (Carmen) Sanguin, Estevan, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Trevor was born on May 29, 1970 in Weyburn. He graduated from Weyburn Comprehensive High School and from there attended the University of Minnesota, where he played hockey for the Minnesota Mavericks. On February 14, 1998, he married Stacey Ebel. Trevor loved to farm and took over his grandparents farm as well as renting from many others in the Yellow Grass area. Trevor was very proud of his family and spent many hours coaching their hockey teams and spending time with them boating in the summer and sledding in the winter. Many describe Trevor as a hard worker and a real nice fellow. Trevor always enjoyed spending time with his family. He was always on the go and no matter where he would be there was always someone he knew, whether it be through farming or hockey. It would usually take him twice as long to get anything done because he would never turn down a conversation. He loved being with people and visiting with them. A service of remembrance for Trevor was held on Friday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn with Marjorie McLeod CLA, officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers were Ray Erickson, Norm McFadden, Darren Larson, Chris Hockley, Dave Pulfer, Dean Altwasser, Doug Lumb, Darcy McLeod and Dallas Rogal.
