It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Ronald Norman Milleker at the age of 72. Ron Passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Weyburn General Hospital. Ron was predeceased by his parents Frank and Victoria; brother and sisters: Ervin Milleker, Agnes (Red) Bourassa, Evelyn Wiseman, Carol Milleker; brother-in-law Don McFadden. Ron is survived by his wife Janice, Weyburn; children: Todd (Angela) Milleker, Weyburn, and their children: Alayne (Jason) Dubord, and their son Micah, Lauri (Travis) Eagles, Winnipeg, MB, and their children: Hope, Hannah, Bethany, Bree, Lisa Milleker (Jamie Elliott), Regina, Jeff Milleker, Weyburn, and daughter Clara; brother Fred (Lydia) Milleker, Weyburn; sister Eilleen McFadden, Regina; sister-in-law Della Milleker, Regina; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ron was born on September 10, 1942 to Frank and Victoria Milleker. He was one of seven children. Ron married Janice Hardy and together they raised four children: Todd, Lauri, Lisa and Jeff. In 1971 Ron began his own accounting business, Agra-Comm Bookkeeping. He later sold this successful business and worked for Weyburn Housing Authority until he retired. Ron belonged to many community groups such as Weyburn Young Fellows Club, Weyburn Credit Union Board, Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus, parish council and the Weyburn Hospital Foundation. In his retirement years Ron enjoyed daily coffee with his group of friends. He will be missed by many. Prayers for Ron were held on Tuesday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn. A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn with Father Gerry Bauche, celebrant. Pallbearers were Jamie Elliott, Travis Eagles, Jason Dubord, Stan Runne, Grant Marinos and Doug Loden. Honorary pallbearers were: Weyburn Rotary Club, Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation and the Legion coffee group. Interment followed the service at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn. Lunch was held at McKenna Hall following the interment.
