It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Burnett on July 12, 2014 at the age of 86 after a lengthy illness. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia (Pat) and his three children, Allan (Qualicum Beach, BC), Lorne (Lethbridge, AB) and Dianne (Brian Checkley) (Regina). Bob was very proud of his seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was born and raised in the Oxbow area moving to Kisbey in 1961 where they lived for over 40 years before retiring to Weyburn in 2002. Bob was a very proud member of the Elks of Canada and received his lifetime membership in 2013. A private funeral service for the immediate family was held at the Percy Cemetery near Kisbey on July 17. Those wishing to share in a Celebration of Bob's life were invited to join the family at the Kisbey Rec Centre at 2:00 pm on July 17. Coffee and lunch were served.
