The family of Rita Hallberg (nee Tracey) is saddened to announce her passing on January 11, 2018 at the age of 92. Rita is predeceased by her grandson Tylor Hallberg; her parents, Hugh and Theressia (nee Weissinger) Tracey; sisters: Helen Tracey, Mary (Cecil) Rutherford and Marie Domes; brothers: Michael, John (Augustine), Hugh (Kay), Sylvester and James (Dorothy). Rita will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years Denis; her son: James (Kim) Hallberg; and daughters: Judy (Kevin) Wilkinson, Joy Hallberg (Rick Hartley), Joan Hallberg Mayer (Frank Mayer); her grandchildren: Aerock (Candice) Hallberg, Kristen Hallberg, Brodie Wilkinson (Kate Matthews), Zenon Wilkinson, Rhea (Mike) Arnold, Jade Hartley, Brynn Hartley (Sheldon Da Costa), Kayla Hartley, Katlin Hallberg-Mayer (William Swenson); great-grandchildren: Kieran Wilkinson, Kullen Wilkinson, Elliott Arnold; sister Ollie Sitler; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Rita’s life will be held on Saturday January 20th from 2-4 pm at the Wheatland Senior Centre in Weyburn.
