Rae passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB at the age of 95 years. She will be dearly missed by her two sons and their families: Bob and Carol of Greensboro, NC and Terry and Judy of Calgary, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Doris Ledbrook (Winnipeg) and many nieces and nephews and their families. Rae was predeceased by her husband Gaylen and her sister Bernice Buchan. Rae was born in Fillmore, and after attending Normal School she taught at a one-room schoolhouse near Weyburn. She married Gaylen in 1941 and they lived happily in Weyburn until Gaylen's death in 1999. A few years later she moved to Calgary to be closer to her immediate family and enjoyed many new friends at Garrison Woods Manor. Rae's main passions were her family, golf and bridge. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Myrle and the caring staff at Newport Harbour for their wonderful care. A family memorial service will be held later in Weyburn.
