Olive Naomi Thompson (nee Mulhall), late of Calgary, AB passed away May 21, 2012, at the age of 95 years. Ollie was predeceased by her father, William, her mother, Nora; her brother, Michael; her sister, Patricia; her husband, Wilbur and her great-grandchild, Bienah Odiaman. She is survived by her son, Ken (Suzanne Pelletier); her grandchildren: Daniel (Cindi), Michael (Patricia), Kendra Thompson, Leah Odiaman (Ben), David (Jana) and her great-grandchildren: Shelby Thompson, Joseph Thompson, Elijah Thompson and Kiyah Thompson. Ollie was born November 16, 1916 in Strasbourg to William and Nora Mulhall. In her younger years she lived in Balcarres, Yorkton, Estevan and Weyburn and trained as a psychiatric nurse at the Weyburn Mental Hospital. Always a lover of animals, she remembers her horse Ginger and her dogs Winki and Poco. Thanks is given to her caregivers at Wentworth Manor in Calgary where she resided the past ten years. A family graveside service for Ollie was held on Monday, May 28 from Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn with Rev. John Gardner, officiating. For family and friends so wishing, donations in memory of Ollie may be made to a charity of choice.
