Neva (Krieger) Schultz, late of Weyburn, passed away December 30, 2015, at the age of 101 years. Neva was predeceased by her parents Neil and Margaret Mark; her first husband Albert Krieger (1982), second husband Leon Schultz (2001); siblings and spouses: Lilly (Carl, Emil), Gordon (Maude), Mable (Bill, Adolph), Alvin, Allen and daughter Eileen. She is survived by her two sons: Garry (Carole) Krieger, Buena Vista, Bernie (Joan) Krieger, Creelman; son-in-law: Sam Hennie, Pangman; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; twp great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Ethel Mark; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Neva was born on March 9, 1914 at Lang. She grew up on the family farm located between Lang and Milestone. She attended school at Crocus Plain and Milestone. She married Albert Krieger on October 27, 1937. They farmed at Lang and Colfax before retiring in 1973 to Weyburn. On March 14, 1987, Neva married Leon Schultz. They enjoyed life together as he liked to be busy just as she did. Neva was a lady who liked to be on the go. She enjoyed travelling, spent some winters in the USA, and attended curling events world wide. Many hours were spent crocheting or knitting. Everyone knew what their Christmas gift would be. She played bingo but enjoyed it most when she won. However, her passion was card playing and she was competitive. Neva loved life. She touched many lives and will be missed. A Funeral Service for Neva was held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, with Marjorie McLeod, CLA, officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were all in attendance. Active Pallbearers were: Ryan Burns, Jake Cameron, Glen Hyndman, Randy Krieger, Stacey Spooner, Jody Thomson. Interment followed  the service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn. Lunch was held at Wheatland Senior Centre, 888 1st Avenue, Weyburn. For family and friends so wishing donations in memory of Neva, may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3. Arrangements were entrusted to RD Family Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Weyburn (848-0333 ~ 1-888-848-0333).
