Mervin Lloyd Istace, late of Regina, passed away November 4, 2016, at the age of 53 years. Mervin was predeceased by: his parents Albert and Lauretta Istace. Mervin is survived by: his son Braxton (Paige) Istace; Braxton鈥檚 mother: Robin Taylor; brothers: Edward Istace, Richard Istace; sisters Doris (David) Kotz, Lorraine Istace; brothers: Glen (Bernadette) Istace, Larry (Sharon) Istace as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Service of Remembrance for Mervin was held Thursday, November 10, at 2:00 pm from RD Family Funeral Chapel. Honorary Pallbearers were each and every one who Mervin has impacted with his genuine knowledge and care. Interment was held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, with lunch following at the Wheatland Senior Centre, Weyburn. A Message from Mervin... Funny thing about me... each and every day I try and find something little to bring a smile to my face. I look for the silver lining in the smallest of areas, and ensure my view is with the sun in my face.
I appreciate every moment and take from it everything that I possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.聽 Smile, talk, and engage with people you have never talked to before, and actually listen.聽 I am actually a very shy person, but I know I can鈥檛 add value unless I step forward.
Yes, sometimes I seem self-assured, confident, and vivacious, but I hold my head up because you my friends and family have given me the right to.聽 You have given me that belief in myself to say YES, I am a great individual and believe in myself.
You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it. 聽
