Mentore Gualandri, in Felina, Italy died at the age of 87 in the Saint Ann Hospital, Castelnuovo Monti, on April 29, 2013. He left his wife of 59 years, Albertina Gualandri, as well as his many nieces, nephews, brothers. Mentore and Albertina were residents of lovely Weyburn, for many years, both working at Western Wire and Cable which then became Canada Wire and Cable. They later decided to move back to Italy to be near their relatives.Mentore never forgot his wonderful years in Weyburn, and often spoke about them to his Italian friends. Funeral services were held on May 1 and he will be cremated on May 10th. Thank to all of his Weyburn friends!
