May Irene Smith, late of Weyburn passed away February 15, 2013, at the age of 98 years. May was predeceased by her parents: Frank and Mary Wiggins; husband, Dan; infant daughter, Donna Aileen; four brothers and one sister. May is survived by her children: Dennis (Judy) Smith, Creelman and their family: Travis and his daughter, [Hayes], Robin (Steve) Dettman and their children: [Faith, Hope, Curtis, Marcus and Nathan], Janelle (Ben Schentag) and their children: [Bryden and Noah], Amber Smith; Lynne (Edward) Pretty, Weyburn and their family: Danell (Jerry) van Staveren and their children: [Pieter and Adrienne], Garon (Amanda) Pretty and their children: [Bode and Nyia]; Anne (Jim) Ticknor, Beausejour, MB and their family: Corey (Virginia Mclain), Jann (Antonio Hernandez), Scott (Jennifer); Garth (Gail) Smith, Calgary, AB and their family: Melissa, Karston, Carter and Courtney; one sister, Mary Holiday, Rosetown as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Interment services took place on Wednesday, February 20 at 1:30 p.m. from Golden Gates Cemetery Creelman. A Celebration of Her Life was held on Wednesday, February 20 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Andrews United Church, Creelman with Elizabeth Goodson, officiating. For friends so wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of May can be made to St. Andrews United Church, Creelman.
