Maureen, beloved wife of Peter passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB, surrounded by her family on Monday, June 18, 2012. She was the New Year's baby born in Regina to Alfred and Kathleen Morris; who farmed in the Weyburn area of Saskatchewan. She was the eldest of four in her family. Maureen worked in health care for over 40 years in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, AB, and Saskatoon. She leaves behind many wonderful memories of her life spent in Saskatchewan, Edmonton, Calgary and Fanny Bay on Vancouver Island plus family holidays in Tobago, Mexico, U.K., Portugal and Hawaii. Maureen is survived by her mother Kathleen Morris of Saskatoon, her three siblings, Bill Morris, Judy Dickie (Dennis) and Bob Morris (Carole); her three children, Sheri (Jason) Baker, Jeff (Angelica) Webb and Ryan Webb; also five grandchildren and one great grandson. A Celebration of her life was held at McInnis & Holloway Fish Creek Chapel, 14441 Bannister Rd. S.E., Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, June 23/2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation at http://albertacancer.ca/maureenffoulkes-jones.
