Mary Jones, late of Fillmore, passed away peacefully at the Fillmore Health Centre, Fillmore, where she had lived for many years, on June 10, 2016, at the age of 87 years. Mary is survived by her daughter Bonnie Pollock; grandson: Wyatt Pollock (Tina) and great grand children: Darcy and Kade; grandson Wade Pollock (Hayley) and great grand children: Josh, Jake, Ben, Rachel and Sam; niece Dawn Chorney; nephew Alvin Meisner. Mary was born on April 1, 1929 in Creelman. Shortly after World War 2 ended, Mary met Jack Jones. They were married, farmed and lived Fillmore. Mary was actively involved in her community, leading 4-H for many years, involved with the UCW and tirelessly working for the Legion. She will be remembered for her beautiful yard which gave her joy and the lovely smile that she gave to everyone. Direct Cremation has taken place.聽 As requested, no funeral service will be held.
