Margaret Maxwell Ledingham, late of Weyburn, passed away October 16, 2012, at the age of 88 years. Margaret was predeceased by her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law. Margaret is survived by her husband, Gordon Ledingham, Weyburn; her children: Lois (Ron) Campbell, Okotoks, AB, Glenn (Patty) Ledingham, North Vancouver, BC; Shella Ledingham, Vernon, BC; grandchildren: Frazer and Graham Campbell, Adam, Logan, Rhett and Rylee Haubrich, Griffin and John Ledingham as well as several nieces and nephews. Margaret was born on May 1, 1924 in Fort Qu'Appelle. She graduated from Weyburn Collegiate and then from secretarial school in Regina. On September 16, 1946, she married Gordon Ledingham at the Regina United Church. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper, first for Weyburn Creamery and later for Dad with GC Ledingham Constuction and farm. Most important to Mom were her family and friends and enjoying each and every day to the fullest. She was a real people person and loved to entertain in their homes in Weyburn, Kenosee Lake and Arizona. Margaret loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed golfing, curling, knitting, cooking , dancing and meeting with her coffee group. She was a member of the Royal Purple Kinnettes, K-40, UCW and the Lazy Daisy's. Thanks to everyone who touched Mom's life with their kindness. A funeral service for Margaret was held on Friday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn, with Rev. M. Barnabas, officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn.
