Margaret “Jean” Vatamaniuck

Margaret “Jean” Vatamaniuck was born on June 21, 1942 in Broadview. She passed away peacefully on July 20, 2016 at the Weyburn General Hospital with all of her loving family by her side. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Emma Bohn; sister, Connie Schrader and brother-in-law, Robert Schrader. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Dan; daughter, Deborah Hoggan (Jeffrey Weinkauf) and children, Ryan, Linnette and Shealease; twin sons, Robert (Shawna) Vatamaniuck and children, Paige and Payten; Ronald (Lisa) Vatamaniuck and children, Austin and Grace. Jean was a very humble woman with a heart of gold. Her family and grandchildren meant the world to her. She was a homemaker her entire life to her loving husband and three children. She made sure that everyone was well looked after, including having meals and baking available always.  She was always there for you…if there was anything you ever wanted or needed, or if you just needed an ear to listen. There was no such word as “No”. Her zest for life and her positive attitude will be forever missed. The family of Jean would like to give a huge thank you to the wonderful health care team, who helped to take care of her while in Palliative Care. Prayers were held on Tuesday, July 26, at 7:00 pm from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at 10:30 am from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Gerry Bauche celebrant.
