Lucille Heiberg was born in Long Island, New York, April 28, 1926 and passed away peacefully on October 12, 2014 at Milestone, at the age of 88 years. She came to Lang as a war bride from England in 1947. She was predeceased by her husband Jim Heiberg. Left to cherish many precious memories are her children: Lesley Christopher (Ron McLeod); Roberta (Larry) Stephenson; Michael Heiberg; Pamela (Warren) Klatt; Ken (Arnella) Heiberg; grandchildren: Trevor (Brandy) Christopher; Michael Christopher; Christine (Jason) Hamilton; Andrew Christopher (Janice Gobin); Crystal (Brandon) Carter; Darren (Meghan) Stephenson; Tressa (Lucas) McLean; Corey)Melody) Heiberg; Nicole (Darren) Scott; Amanda Heiberg (Ryan Simms); Jamie (Bryan) Hildebrandt; Heidi (Tim) Schellenberg; Derek Klatt; Lexi Heiberg; Wyatt Heiberg; Zachary Heiberg; great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Zoey, Nate, Amelia, Makayla, Madilyn, Mikayla, Scarlett, Willow, Cohen, Ezekiel, Eli, Edison, Aaliyah, Jude, Karis, Christopher, Samantha, Aiden, Kale, Jace, Brinley, Kane, Kolton, Micah, Simon, Calliegh, Lauryn, Leah, Katelynn, Jada, Jaken, Kacy; sister Eunice Partington; special friend Bob Wilson, and all who knew her. Some of the memories we will always cherish are the special meals she had on Sundays and her tasty homemade buns. She loved spending time with her family and had a special love for her birds. She took pleasure in knitting and her family and friends will always cherish the items she made. She enjoyed playing cards but never was too fond of losing! We will miss her positive attitude and good sense of humor. We are blessed by the memories we have made with her and thankful that she went peacefully to be with the Lord. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lang, Milestone United Church.
