With heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Judy McLeod, our sister, aunt and great aunt at Pasqua Hospital on February 2, 2013, at the age of 63 years. Judy was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Christena McLeod. Judy will be dearly missed by her sister, Peg (Doug) Bukowski, Calgary, AB and their children: Lisa (Brent) Gacek, Calgary, AB and their children, Liam and London; Cindi (Kevin) Garren, Los Angeles, CA; sister, Fay (Don) Schmidt, Weyburn, and their children: Donna Medwed, Medicine Hat, AB and her sons, Logan and Colton; Scott Schmidt, Carnduff; and Mark (Jill) Schmidt, Yellow Grass; brother, Jamie (Anne) McLeod, Saskatoon, and their children: Chris McLeod, Saskatoon; Erin (Josh) Lawson, Regina; and Kayla McLeod, Saskatoon; aunt, Janet Bradley, Lethbridge; aunt, Eva Shiel, Redvers; uncle, Garth (Lillian) McLeod, Peachland, BC; Gordon (Sharon) McLeod, Edmonton, AB as well as numerous cousins and friends. Judy was born on January 26, 1950 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Weyburn. She attended Haig School and Weyburn Collegiate High School as well as one year at the University of Regina. She worked over 33 years at SVECH and made life long friendships.She will be missed for her caring ways and her infectious laugh. Judy loved spending time with her family and the family dogs, as well as with her friends. She was a dedicated member of Grace United Church and a volunteer at Weyburn Wheatland Senior's Centre. A service of remembrance for Judy was held on Thursday, February 7, at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn, with Rev. M. Barnabas, officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn. All of Judy's nieces and nephews were considered Honorary Pallbearers. For family and friends so wishing, donations in memory of Judy may be made to the Grace United Church Memorial Fund, 210-3rd Street NE, Weyburn, SK S4H 0W6. Arrangements were entrusted to RD Family Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Weyburn (848-0333 ~ 1-888-848-0333).
