It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce (nee Gooding) Tremblay on February 8, 2013 at the age of 82 years. Joyce was born in Regina on February 13, 1930. She graduated from the Regina Grey Nuns Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1951. Joyce married John M.G. Tremblay in February 1952 and resided in Radville until her passing. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Agnes Gooding; as well as her three brothers, Harvey, Jerry and Bernard. Joyce is survived by her husband of almost 61 years, John. She will always be remembered by her loving children, Jacqueline, Bernard, Michael (Margaret), Sharon (Murray), Marilyn (Peter) and Rhonda (Kim); her 11 grandchildren will remember her as "Granny", Eric, Janelle, Sarah, Lisa, Deanna, Marcel, Clare, Tess, Jessica, Selena and Alyssa; she will be missed by her friends, including special friends, Mrs. Elizabeth Gooding, Mrs. Marie Bert and Mrs. Ada Nelson. Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the Radville Marian Health Centre. The family would like to say a special "thank you" to Dr. Oberholzer, Dr. Helms and the wonderful Health Centre staff for the excellent care given to Joyce while she resided there. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, February 12 at 10:00 AM from Holy Family Catholic Church, Radville, with Father Anthony Pangan celebrating. Interment was at Laurier Cemetery, Radville.
