Joanna "Hannah" Ferner, late of Weyburn, passed away July 14, 2013, at the age of 91 years. Hannah was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Anastasia Lorenz; sisters, Beth Ehman, Evelyn Metzger. Hannah is survived by her children, Garry (Linda), Aaron, Rhoda, Tim; brother, Andy (Bella) Lorenz; daughter-in-law, Heather Stirling; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A service of Remembrance for Hannah was held on Tuesday, July 23, at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, with Violet Hoffman, Lay Presider. Interment will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn. Honorary pallbearers were all in attendance. For family and friends so wishing donations in memory of Hannah may be made to a charity of choice.
