Janice Diane Duke born March 10, 1954 late of Weyburn, formerly from Yellow Grass and Francis. It is with great sadness that the family of Janice announces her passing on December 19, 2016 at the age of 62. Janice was predeceased by father William (Bill) Duke, stepson Chad Johnstone, maternal grandparents Harold and Gladys Anderson and paternal grandparents Fred and Ella Duke. Janice will be lovingly remembered by mother Joyce Duke, sons Shaun Mus (Kim), granddaughter Alisha, Trevor Mus (Sarah), granddaughter Shannah, grandsons Fox and Hunter; husband Keith Johnstone, stepdaughter Charla (Darrin), grandchildren Shayla and Kaylan and stepson Devin; sister Joanne (Lorne), brother Barry (Rita). As well as numerous other relatives and friends. Janice loved the farm, as a child 鈥� building flax straw houses in the fields, painting and decorating the outhouse, driving the dragon wagon around the yard with Lorna. Janice loved to garden and her many farm animals that turned into pets. Mitsy, her calico cat had a special place in Jan鈥檚 heart. The family would like to thank the staff at Weyburn General Hospital and Regina General Hospital as well as Dr. Oberkirsch of Weyburn for the care provided to Janice.聽 Also, to those who sat with Janice at the hospital. A special thank you to Lorna and Christine.There will not be a funeral service per Jan鈥檚 request. Her family will lay her to rest at a later date.
