James Allan "Jim" Hubbs, late of Weyburn, passed away March 15, 2014, at the age of 66 years. Jim was predeceased by his son, Trent Allan Hubbs, his parents Lorne and Mildred Hubbs; brother Wayne Hubbs. Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Hubbs; daughter Lynn (Mike) Claude, Weyburn; son Scott (Nicole) Hubbs, Aberdeen; his five precious grandsons: Brandon and Justin Claude, Weyburn, Brayden, Corbin and Logan Hubbs, Aberdeen; step-mother Mable Hubbs, Weyburn; sister Lorna (John) Stanley, Katepwa Beach; mother-in-law Edna Hemphill, Weyburn; sister-in-law Diane (Gordon) Bell, Weyburn; brother-in-law Ron (Crystal) Carlson, Regina as well as several nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance for Jim was held on Saturday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn with Rev. M. Barnabas, officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn. Lunch was held at Upper Grace Hall following the interment. Honorary pallbearers were all in attendance.
