Jack Makelki, late of Lake Alma, passed away June 28, 2014, at the age of 84 years. Jack was predeceased by his parents: John and Helen Makelki; father and mother-in-law: Thomas and Edith Paul; brothers and sisters: Joseph, George, Chris, Rose and Matilda; sisters and brothers-in-law: Phyllis, Diane, Bunny, Alfred, Ernest, Pete, and granddaughter: Amanda. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Florence, lovingly remembered by his seven children: Rodney and Debrah, William and Charlene, Kenneth and Lillian, David, Donald and Lisa, Stephan and Shirley, Betty and Wayne; 20 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brother and sisters; Charlie, Katie and Margaret; brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom and Shirley, Arvella, John and Cheryl, Dorothy, Donna, Marcella as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life for Jack was held on Thursday, July 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Alma Hall, Lake Alma with Pastor Martin Olson, officiating. Interment followed at Nordalen Cemetery, Lake Alma.
