Jack Helfrick late of Weyburn and formerly of Francis, passed away July 14, 2012 at the age 84 years. Jack was predeceased by his parents Flora and S.J. Sr. Helfrick; sisters, Peatta and Mary; brothers: Ned and Joe. Jack is survived by his children: Jackie (Tim) Sjodin, Moose Jaw and their children, Samantha and Dustin, Peter (Twila) Helfrick, Regina and their daughter, Jady, Ron (Natalie) Helfrick, Francis and their children, Tyler and Colton (Malissa), Carol Anne (Richard) Tessier, Bienfait and their children, Stephanie (Craig) and their son [Ronan], Jessie and Cheyanne, Ken (Kathy) Helfrick, Weyburn and their children, Jasmyn and David; the mother of his children, Hilda McGowan, Weyburn, as well as many other family. Funeral mass was held on Wednesday July 18 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Francis with Fr. Louis Abello, celebrant. Interment followed in Francis Cemetery, Francis. All in attendance at the service were considered honorary pallbearers.
