It is with sadness we announce that Ivan Churchill, born August 26, 1921, passed away quietly in his sleep, February 14, 2014. Ivan, a farmer, friend and caring community citizen, was born, raised and lived in the Goodwater, Tribune and Weyburn communities his entire life. Ivan was a proud Canadian soldier in WWII. Ivan was predeceased by his parents, William and Eliza Churchill; brothers, Raymond and Ken Churchill and special lady, Hazel Eddy. Ivan leaves to mourn, the families of his nephews, Ken (Linda) Churchill and David Churchill; nieces, Patsy Sagert and Heather (Gary) Duggan. Of special mention are the families of Hazel's daughters, Beverly (Warren) Pederson, Ione Ernst-Berard and Myrna (Dennis) Oxelgren. Ray McKague and many other friends will long remember Ivan's presence in their lives. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
