Ivadelle Margaret Kosior was born on November 9, 1931 near Fillmore, formerly of Griffin, Fillmore, Kenosee Lake and Weyburn, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Weyburn at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Evelyn Nixon and infant daughter Mary. Ivadelle will be lovingly remembered by her husband Willie of 59 years; daughter Carol (Ron) Hunter and their two children Adrienne (Chris) Simonson and their children Kelton and Cooper and Alexis Hunter; son Dwight (Lee) Kosior and their two children Ben Kosior (Kari Murray) and Regan Kosior; daughter Patti Kosior (Rod Jones); son David (Peggy) Kosior and their three children Devon, Kelvin and Barrett Kosior; special nephew Doug (Debbie) Kosior and their three children Kaila, Sean and Alyssa Kosior; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Ivadelle first worked at the Post Office in Indian Head, then started raising her family and working on the family farm. She was involved with the Saint Altar Society in Fillmore and with CWL in Griffin and Fillmore. During her retirement years, she worked at the Caddy Shack in Kenosee Lake. Ivadelle and Willie later moved to Weyburn. Prayers were held at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 314-3rd Street NE, Weyburn on Monday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 12 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Gerry Bauche celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ivadelle may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
