Irene Selma Pederson late of Weyburn passed away peacefully Monday, September 23, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Pederson; parents, Sigurd and Gertie Holth; daughter, Sharon Pederson; brothers and sisters, Signora (Harry) Pederson, Della (Henry) Pederson, Hank Holth and Ralph Holth and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gladys (Oliver) Hanson, Palmer (Vivian) Pederson, Menford (Maudye) Pederson, Viola Pederson and Elin Pederson. Irene is survived by her two daughters, Valerie (Paul) Davies of Regina, and their children, Shauna Davies, Andrea (Kenny) Guest and their children, Danika and Lincoln; Barbara (Glenn) Bond of Victoria, BC and their son, Jason (Bronwyn) Bond and their child on the way; sisters-in-law, Helen Holth and Doris Holth; brothers-in-law, Oscar Pederson and Willard (Doris) Pederson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, September 27 at 11:00 AM from Zion Lutheran Church, Weyburn with Pastor Martin Olson and Marjorie McLeod, CLA officiating. Interment took place at Lac Qui Parle Cemetery, Bromhead. Pallbearers were Arvid Pederson, Carl Stepp, Bernie Maksymiw, Craig Palmer, Guy Wapple and Tim Leblanc. Honourary Pallbearers all who shared in Irene's life. Donations in memory of Irene may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Lac Qui Parle Cemetery Fund.
