Inez June (Marie) Guider (Nee: Leiski) , late of Weyburn, passed away July 30, 2014, at the age of 80 years. Inez was born in Weyburn on May 31, 1934, the seventh of eight children born to Bill and Rose Leiski. She loved riding horses in her younger years. Inez was predeceased by her parents: William and Rosalie Leiski; husband: Henry Guider; daughter: Lorie Guider; grandson: Kevin Beaton; granddaughter Dayna Beaton; great-grandson: Hunter Johnstone; two sisters: Virginia Myers and Karen Foster. She is survived by her daughter: Debbie (Dave) Beaton and family; Lisa (Shawn) Fellner and children: Drew, Hayley, and Paige, Chris Beaton and children: Mayson and Kacie, Stacy (Morgan) Sanheim and children: Keagen, Carlee, and Ryley; daughter: Kim (James) Johnstone and family: Candis (Tyler) Dumais and daughter Londynn, Randi (Tony) Calverley and children: Alexis and Josh, Matt Johnstone; sisters: Jo Brack, Ruth Frank; brothers: Tony (Betty) Leiski, Lloyd Leiski, Norman (Edna) Leiski; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Eddy (Lorraine) Guider and family, along with numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. One June 1, 1954 she married Henry Guider. They were blessed with three daughters, Debbie, Kim and baby Lori who sadly passed away at only nine months old. Once her daughters were older Inez re-entered the work field. In her later years she worked at the Co-op in the engraving department. Many of us have something in our homes that was engraved by her. Inez loved her family above all and treasured every moment the whole family was together. She was always eager to go support her seven grandchildren, and later her 11 great grandchildren. She never missed a sporting event whether it was at a rink, diamond, soccer pitch or a court she was always in the front row and our biggest cheerleader. She was known as "grandma" to all our teammates. Inez was an outgoing and fun loving lady with a great sense of humor. She loved company and welcomed everyone into her home no matter when they showed up. Anyone who spent time with her will remember her Spudnuts, Chocolate Cake with Caramel Icing, Creamy dill Chicken and the list goes on. Everyone could count on her phone call on their birthday - no hello, she'd just burst into the Happy Birthday song. Being the social butterfly she was, she was always on her phone. Staying close to her family and siblings keeping everyone in the loop of what was happening with everyone. Her siblings, especially, will miss her nightly conference call with them. Inez, better known as Mom, Grandma, Grandma Darlin and Aunt was a great role model. We will miss her big smile with her red lipstick, the smell of her perfume, her hugs but mostly her "love you darlin". We'd like to take this opportunity to thank a few special people who were always there for Inez: Kathy Peil, Lynn and Dave Mack, the Myers and Chris from Bison Manor. Thank you for always taking time out of your lives to lend a helping hand, it was always greatly appreciated. A service of remembrance for Inez was held on Tuesday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn with Rev. John Ferrier, officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn. Lunch was held at Captain's Hall, Weyburn. Honorary pallbearers were all in attendance. God looked around his garden
And found an empty space
Then he looked down upon this earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
