Helen Marjorie Clark, late of Pangman, and formerly of Ogema, passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years, with her daughters by her side, at the Bengough Health Centre. Helen was predeceased by parents: Gordon and Mary George; husband Douglas in 1994; son Grant in 1965; infant granddaughter Kenda Dawn; brothers: Ellis (Hilda), Arnold (Marjorie), Art (Vera) and (Margaret); sister-in-law Alice Severson and brother-in-law, Gordon Clark. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Bette (Jerry) Tondevold, Ogema; Donna (Edwin) Hartley, Ogema and family: Kevin (Karen) and family [Shinae and Graydon], Patricia (Lucio), Brent (Angela) and family [Kendra and Laurin], and Darren (Kim); Beverly (Mervin) McCabe, Ogema and family: Kathy (Kevin) and family [Curtis (Tamara) and son Keaton, Justin and Jordan], Shawna (Troy) and family [Brooke (Tyson), Shandrea and Tyrell], Michelle (Brian) and family [Madison, Cooper and Spencer]; sister-in-law, Lucille Clark, Weyburn, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.Helen was born in the Ogema District and received her schooling at Mount Joy rural school. She married Douglas Clark on July 20, 1936 and spent many years enjoying the farm and her family. She was an accomplished seamstress and made clothes for her family and friends for many years. Helen and Doug moved into the town of Ogema in 1974 where they continued to be active members in their community. Helen was an honorary member of the Ogema Agricultural Society, having served for over 65 years; a lifetime member of the Ogema Legion; member of the Adele Goodwill Club; 4-H Leader; board member of the Ogema Senior Dew Drop In; member of the Ogema Deep Â鶹ÊÓƵ Pioneer Museum and involved with the Ogema History books. Helen attended many events involving her children and grandchildren and cherished the time spent with family and friends. She loved to curl, bowl, play cards and bingo, make casino trips and she enjoyed all of the activities at the Deep Â鶹ÊÓƵ Personal Care Home in Pangman where she lived for the past few years. Helen will always be remembered for her smile and her wonderful sense of humour. The funeral service and celebration of Helen's life was held at Ogema United Church on Saturday, September 13, with Reverend James Balfour officiating. Pallbearers were Helen's grandchildren and interment took place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Weyburn.
