George W. Domes of Yellow Grass, passed away peacefully at his home on September 7, 2014, with his family by his side. George leaves behind his loving wife, Dorothy Domes, of 55 years, and his children: Gary (and Jo) Domes, Darin Domes (and Dellie Montreuil), Wendy (and Darcy) Muxlow, and Lorelei (and Steve) Roelfsema. George also leaves behind his grandchildren: Rebekah, Nigel, Kirby, Logan, Colby, Megan, and Quinton, as well as nine great grandchildren. We will greatly miss our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, farmer, fisherman, scholar, professor, photographer, politician, doctor, mechanic, historian, and debate partner. Although he may be gone, he will not be forgotten. We will always have the memories and values, which he instilled in us all, to carry with us as we go forth in our lives.
