With sadness we say goodbye to Emma Eberhardt, late of Weyburn, formerly of Lang, who left us on Monday, February 4, 2013, at the age of 108 years. Emma was predeceased by her husband, Martin; her sons: Arnold and Walter; her daughter, Valerie Borys; son-in-law, Jim Kerr. Emma is survived by her daughter, Ivy Kerr, Yellow Grass; son-in-law, Lyle Borys, Cedoux; grandchildren: Beverly (Hugh) Townsend, Saskatoon, Colin (Debbie) Kerr, Yellow Grass, Marsha (Lyel) Allen, of Clavet, Peggy Halti, Kamloops, BC, Brett Borys, Colfax, and Juana Borys, Weyburn, Donna (Wes) Loucks, Medicine Hat, AB, Ward Borys, Cedoux; 18 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service for Emma was held on Saturday, February 9, at 2:00 p.m. from Lang Community Hall, Lang, with Marjorie McLeod, CLA, officiating. Interment followed at Lang Cemetery. All her friends in attendance were considered Honorary Pallbearers. Active Pallbearers were Schenley Borys, Brett Borys, Ward Borys, Joshua Kerr, Riley Loucks and Rody Loucks. For family and friends so wishing, donations in memory of Emma may be made to the Lang Lutheran Church Memorial Fund; Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan or the Canadian Cancer Society.
