On Tuesday, November 5, 2013, Edith Ray, late of Creelman, passed away in Regina, at the age of 100 years. Edith is survived by her nieces and nephews, Aubrey (Betty) Ray, Linda Rutledge, Lorraine (Lyle) Dempsey, Gerald (Charlotte) Rich, Barb (Wayne) Warkentin, Susanne Deg, Judy (Raymond) Desharnais, Kate (Mike) Martinez, Cindy (Gord) Punter and John (Arlene) Ray, as well as many special great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Gertrude; brothers, Leslie, Alan and Chester; sisters, Bernice and Ethel and niece Marilyn. A Memorial Service took place Friday, November 8, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's United Church, Creelman, with Rev. Ann White officiating. Interment followed at Golden Gates Cemetery, Creelman. Those so wishing may make donations directly to the Resident Fund at the Fillmore Health Centre in memory of Edith. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. We, the Ray families, would like to thank the staff of Hall Funeral Services for their care of our family at this time. Thank you also to Rev. Ann White for officiating the service. We also wish to thank the Creelman ladies for their service at the luncheon as well as all the gentlemen who donated their time to chauffeur us around. We greatly appreciate all cards, calls, donations, flowers, food and warm hugs from all our family and friends; your kindness will always be remembered.
