Dorothy June Irvine, born April 9, 1936 passed away at Weyburn on the 29th day of September, 2012 at the age of 76 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lura Stordahl of Lang. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her three children: son, Richard Irvine of Houston, BC and his children, Terrance, Jolene and Silver; son, Douglas Irvine of Houston, BC and his children, Danielle, Kimberly, Courtney and Shavawn and daughter, Laura (Doug) Hoffman of Tyvan, and her children, Karla, Edward and Caleb as well as eight great grandchildren. Dorothy lived at Lewvan and on her family farm at Lang. Following her aneurysm in 1974 she resided for some time at Wascana Rehab and Parkside Extended Care in Regina. Following this she lived at Lang and Tyvan. She later moved into Weyburn and lived at Weyburn Special Care Home, Souris Valley and lastly at Tatagwa View. We wish to extend our deepest Thank You to all of her care givers and church family over the last 38 years. Mom loved gardening, her farm, raising cattle, chickens and turkeys and caring for her family and home. She was also a very accomplished pianist, having achieved her Grade 9. Mom was always a hard worker and such a beautiful lady. A Graveside Service will be held at Lang Cemetery on October 19 at 3:30 PM.
