Dorothy Elizabeth Eastman (Pulfer)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Dorothy Elizabeth (Dot) Eastman/Pulfer (nee Collins). Dorothy passed peacefully away at Haven Hill Retirement Centre in Penticton, BC on March 7, 2013. Dot was predeceased by her first husband, Korah Wilson (Bill) Eastman of Prince Rupert, BC; second husband, Douglas Russell Pulfer of Weyburn; brother, Albert Collins of Brandon, MB (died in action in Italy, 1944); daughter, Elizabeth Stewart and grandson, Shaun Stewart. She is survived by her son, Daniel Eastman (Lynne); daughters, Koreen Murphy (Brian) and Elaine (Kahl) (Sandy) all of British Columbia as well as eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Dot is also survived by the Pulfer children and grandchildren of second husband, Douglas of Weyburn. Her smile, the raising of her eyebrow and her great sense of humour will be greatly missed. Dorothy's remains have been cremated and will be reunited with her first husband, Bill in Prince Rupert. A family gathering will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Condolences may be shared by visiting www.everdenrust.com.
