Donald Alexander Watson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Don was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Irene Watson; infant son; brothers, Mel, Al and Bill Watson; parents-in-law, George and Aggie Klinck; brother-in-law, Douglas Favel and nephew, Jodie Watson. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Audrey Watson of Yellow Grass; son, Erroll Watson of Kelvington, son, Dale (Dawna) Watson of Minton, son, Lee (Jackie) Watson of Yellow Grass; grandchildren: Jon Watson (Margaret MacCallum), Jill Watson, Dirk (Brandy) Watson, Reche Watson (David Henderson), Britany (Chad) Culham, Brooke (Brody) Ward, Austin Watson (Sarah Hoffart), Ryder Watson (Nadya McKim), Kelli Watson, Jesse Watson (Jordan Maas) and Layne Watson; great grandchildren: Skye and Brody Watson, Domanik Watson, Rhys Henderson, Emylia Culham, Rylan Watson, Bohden Watson and a great grandbaby Ward on the way; brothers, Howard (Margaret) Watson, George (Connie) Watson and Doug (Connie) Watson; sister, Gwen Favel; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Watson, Doreen Watson and Merle Watson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, September 24, at 2:00 p.m. from the Yellow Grass United-Lutheran Partnership, Yellow Grass, with Reverend John Ferrier officiating. Pallbearers were Don’s grandsons, Jon Watson, Dirk Watson, Ryder Watson, Jesse Watson, Austin Watson, Layne Watson and friend, Gary Moore. Interment will be at a later date.
