Dion Conway Cochrane passed away suddenly in Weyburn on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the age of 46 years. Dion is survived by his mother, Karon Cochrane of Estevan; sisters, Trudy Cochrane of Weyburn and family: Rachelle (Gavin) Mievre of Regina and Dylan Kvamme (Rae) of Weyburn; Trina (Pete) VanDerkooy and family: Beverly VanDerkooy (Cory) and Devon VanDerkooy, all of Grande Prairie; Tifani Proust and family: AylaGrace and Finley Proust, all of Estevan; nephew Lucas Cochrane (son of Daren), as well as many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Beverly Cochrane; brother, Daren Cochrane; grandparents, Nick and Grace Scheurman and Herbert and Effie Pearl Cochrane; and uncle, Gerald Cochrane. A Memorial Service for Dion was held on Tuesday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Pastor Scott Harrison officiating. Interment followed at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan.
