Cyrus "Cy" Lee Bechtel passed away suddenly on June 26, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Cy was born on December 5, 1937 in Kelvington to Ora Lee and Mary Bechtel. At an early age Cy moved to British Columbia where he spent his entire career working in the forestry sector as a logger and then in the pulp mill in Upper Fraser, British Columbia until his retirement. Cy moved back to Saskatchewan in the early 2000's making Weyburn his retirement home, where his mother, Mary and sister, Louise resided. Cy was predeceased by both his parents, sisters, Alice Chambers and Louise Belanger and brothers, Ralph and Walter. Cy leaves to mourn, his sister, Helen Bechtel and her partner, Harold Zaporozan of Kamloops, British Columbia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery on July 12 at 1:30 pm.
