Clarence Edward Guider, late of Halbrite passed away July 16, 2012, at the age of 69 years. Clarence was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Stella Guider; his brothers: John and Henry; sister, Katie. Clarence is survived by his wife, Joy Guider; his children: Corey (Jenalyn) Guider, Kelly (Paulette) Guider, Jodi (Dwayne) Carlson; his grandchildren: Emmett, Adam, Sawyer, Loxlyn and Chesa; brother, Eddy (Lorraine) Guider; sister, Eileen Guider; sister-in-law, Inez along with numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence was born in Halbrite and raised on the family farm near Halbrite. He farmed with his father for a number of years and eventually took over the farm. Clarence also enjoyed his time spent working in the oilfield. He was employed with John Kmita Ltd. for over 30 years. Clarence enjoyed camping, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed quiet times at home with his family. He was a jokester with his grandchildren and was a very proud grandpa. A graveside service for Clarence was held on Saturday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. from Halbrite Cemetery, Halbrite with Rev. M. Barnabas, officiating. All in attendance were considered honorary pallbearers.
