Brian Thomas Walter, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at the age of 59 years. He was predeceased by his father, Jack and his sister, Elaine. Brian was born April 17, 1957 at the Regina General Hospital to Dorothy and Jack Walter. He graduated from grade 12 in Weyburn and went on to receive his BSC degree in Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon. After completion of his post-secondary education Brian returned to Weyburn where he resided until his passing. He came from a musical family and inherited this same love of music. He taught himself how to play the piano, classical guitar, banjo and any other instrument he picked up. Brian was an avid reader and loved the works of Shakespeare. He also had a love of nature and animals and was especially fond of dogs. When we think of Brian we remember his gentleness, good humor, kindness and his love for his family. Brian leaves to mourn his mother, Dorothy Walter of Weyburn; brother, Michael (JoAnn) Walter of Regina; nephew, Jason Hunt; aunt, Alice Walter and numerous cousins and friends. We thank God for giving us the wonderful gift of Brian and we will remember him always. A private family Memorial Service was held and interment will take place at a later date.
