Borge 鈥淧eter鈥� Aamundsen, born September 19, 1928 passed away peacefully on March 12, 2016. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Ingward and Sorine Aamundsen; wife, Ulla Aamundsen; brother and sisters in Denmark. Peter is survived by his sons, Carsten 鈥淐hris鈥� (Kendra) Aamundsen of Moose Jaw, John (Sheila) Aamundsen of Edmonton, AB and Kenneth 鈥淜en鈥� Aamundsen of Sylvan Lake, AB; grandchildren, Alynne (Gary) Knibbs, Curtis Aamundsen, Dina (Jay) Boggs, Kaylen (Sarah) Ficko,聽 Alana (Ed) Lyon, Alora, Olivia and Darby Aamundsen; ten great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 26, at 1:00 p.m. from Fletcher Funeral Chapel with Reverend John Ferrier officiating. Interment followed at the Hillcrest Columbarium, Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn. Donations in memory of Peter may be made to The Arthritis Society at #110-2550-12th Ave., Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
