Bernard Vincent Sigda passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Bernard was predeceased by his parents, John and Barbara Sigda; brothers, Walter and Louis Sigda; sisters, Bernice (Raymond) Gall and Cecile (Leo) Giroux and brother-in-law, Aaron Gall. Bernard will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Stella Sigda; daughter, Coreene (Jeff) Strassburger and children, Carly and Kristen Sigda-Holyoak and Shea and Chase Strassburger; daughter, Connie Fiorante and children, Allie and Emma; daughter, Shantel Steinke (Chris Izsak) and children, Hannah and Carter; sister, Marcella Gall; brother, Isadore Sigda (Darlene); sister-in-law, Sophie Sigda; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as special pet, Lily. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Aloysius Roman Catholic, Fillmore, with Father Dennis Remot celebrating. Interment took place at Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore. Pallbearers were Jeff Strassburger, Bernie Ustupski, Bill Sigda, Clyde Hall, Al David and Ray Frederiksen.
