Barry Mitchell, passed away on May 29, 2016 at Tatagwa View in Weyburn, at the age of 72 years. Barry had been battling familial tremors and diabetes for several years. Barry was predeceased by his parents Bill and Alma Mitchell. He leaves to mourn his passing: his sister Tannis (Richard) Hawton, Weyburn; nephew Bill Hawton (Jaelynn) and their daughters Lashes and Keita, Sylvan Lake, AB; niece Jennifer Hawton (Jamie) and their daughter Mia, Weyburn. Barry Mitchell was born on May 13, 1944 to Bill and Alma Mitchell of Wartime, SK. He was raised on the family farm five miles north of Wartime. He went to school in Wartime and then Elrose. After completing grade 12, Barry went to the U. of S. and enrolled in the College of Education. Barry taught for 30 years in the Rosetown School unit. Two of the years he taught at Howard Powel and 28 years at Plenty, SK. As per Barry鈥檚 wishes, there will no be funeral.
