Tony passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2013 with his wife at his side at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Mike Mack, three sisters: Amelia Anivender, Katie Bolzer, Mary Fellner; three brothers: Mike, Johnny and Rudolph Mack. He is survived by his wife Mamie; sons: Aaron (Shannon), Gordon (Kathleen), Randy (Cheryl); one daughter, Heather (Mike Rath). He has 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He has brother Joe (Marion) Mack in Estevan, sister Agnes (Gerald) Seipp in Estevan; sister-in-law Elsie Mantyka in Weyburn, as well as many many nephews and nieces. Tony was born in Minton on March 29, 1934. He lived in Pangman, Halbrite area, and Weyburn. At the age of 16 he worked for the Haupstein Dairy farm milking cows, from there he worked on the railroad until 1951, when he started work for Jerry Mainil in the oilfield, where he worked for 42 years. He set up many pump jacks and trained many men. He married on October 9, 1965. They moved to Halbrite in 1967 and lived there for 43 years until they moved to Weyburn. He served nine years on the Halbrite Town Council and Mainprize Park Board. He resided at Bison Manor in 2009 until his illness when he moved to Weyburn Special Care Home November 4, 2011. A graveside service for Anton "Tony" Mack will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. in Halbrite cemetery, Halbrite. Lunch to follow at the Halbrite Rink.
